We also use third party advertisements on savingtheworldonecouponatatime.blogspot.com to support our site. Some of these advertisers may use technology such as cookies and web beacons when they advertise on our site, which will also send these advertisers (such as Google through the Google AdSense program) information including your IP address, your ISP , the browser you used to visit our site, and in some cases, whether you have Flash installed. The ads served will be targeted based on your previous browsing history (For example, if you have been viewing sites about visiting Las Vegas, you may see Las Vegas hotel advertisements when viewing a non-related site, such as on a site about hockey). DART uses “non personally identifiable information”. It does NOT track personal information about you, such as your name, email address, physical address, telephone number, social security numbers, bank account numbers or credit card numbers. This could include the inability to login to services or programs, such as logging into forums or accounts.

Deleting cookies does not mean you are permanently opted out of any advertising program. Unless you have settings that disallow cookies, the next time you visit a site running the advertisements, a new cookie will be added.

Step 2: Saving Smart Source, Red Plum, and PG Brand Saver and Starting to Watch Store Sales

Step two is keeping the smart source, red plum, and pg brand saver inserts in the local paper. They're the most valuable but only when combined with in store coupons, sales, and any saving memberships or double coupon days. It's a well known fact that the combination of these methods maximizes coupon savings. You have to be diligent and really watch each sale, and clip all the coupons you can. Again I'm going to recommend the best website I currently know of to give you specific shopping lists each week on the deepest discounts by store, and that's pocketyourdollars.com but I will provide more resources as I learn about them.

You may have seen this popular show on TLC - Extreme Couponing. This show is very exciting and great because it got people like my wife and I more interested in coupon savings, but I wanted to do my own research. That show makes for great tv but the actors clearly are not displaying the norm, unless you have 50 newspaper subscriptions to get multiple coupons it's not likely you will be getting the store to pay you for your $200 order anytime soon (better than free) but hopefully this resource and others can get you going in the right direction to saving more money by using coupons. Please feel free to comment and share your ideas, and thanks!

Step 1: Newspaper Subscription Purchased

They, whoever they are, say the way to get started saving money using coupons is to get the Smartsource and Redplum inserts (the most valuable) in the Sunday paper. Therefore, my wife and I got a subscription. We don't know very much yet but there's a lot of helpful websites, one being pocketyourdollars.com which shows you week by week the best deals by combining SS and Redplum coupons with the stores sales to get great deals and even completely FREE things!

For us, step 1 is done and next is looking for the best sales to maximize our coupon savings as we build our supply of coupon ads. I'll keep you updated. Feel free to comment and give your best coupon saving ideas, and maybe, just maybe we'll help save the world, one coupon at a time (cheesy I know but it just might work).
